Hi, I'm new to the board but not the hobby, I was caretaker for RM23VOA172622 from 81 to 89. I think it is the St Louis area now.

I built a very early clone.

The whole story:     http://wwnboa.org/espl.htm

I have been collecting parts to make another one.

The plan on this one is kind of long term, It is going to be a "Joe Dirt" bird that will slowly morph to a 2 seater RP 43. I have an original set of Bird fenders, Coronet hood and plan on using a Barracuda rear window. Does anyone make a "race" nose without the headlight holes? The wing from the Enduro Bird will work in the first phase.
I have skimmed from page 130 something and am up to page 35. I saw the Coronet with the Cuda window & I think that will be fine for what I am doing! Does anyone have a detailed install? Also wanting the hood extension in steel.
With the winter weather I won't be doing anything but planning for now but was wondering about the nose, window & hood extension.
BTW I do have a Charger that is pretty areo friendly!

After I sold my Bird I got pretty heavy into the Street Kit Cars & have since "cloned" all the spoiler/flair pieces for the various models of Aspen/Volare including Kit Cars, Super Coupes & RR/RT.

Thanks for letting me in I hope to learn & enjoy & maybe contribute from time to time!   Phil
