Brake Lights

My brake lights on my 68 have stopped working, I assume the brake switch is the first place to look, where is that located ? Any other ideas ? Where is the best place to get a brake switch if it is that ? Many thanks

The fuse is the first place to look. Does the dome light work?

does lighter work? Does horn work? Brake switch is under dash and is at the brake pedal arm...should have two wires on it...pink & white...you should have power at all times on pink wire, then when you push brake pedal, power should be at white wire also

Before you replace the switch wouldn't it be wise to do a little troubleshooting?

Did you check the fuse? If so did you check for power on one side of the switch?
