All those old B&W photos kind of pull at your heartstrings don't they?

That's a great pic Ghoste! I'm going to one day make a small display of Mr Norms using HotWheels cars. Bought 6 Superbees for it a few months ago. Going to replicate this day as best I can. Your pic showed me what may have been lurking on the other side of the building. Notice the concrete ramp in both pics.

If they hurry up and get a hose they can save the back half. (at least there is no one still in the cockpit)

Interesting they kept the back seat in the car. Seems like it could have been weight shed to lose it.

not sure if this has been posted before , but looks kind of familiar http://www.californiaclassix.com/archive/426.html Interesting they kept the back seat in the car. Seems like it could have been weight shed to lose it. yes I thought about that too !! left them in to keep the noise / resonance down of a gutted interior , has 69 charger seats too

Seems they had to be there so the car could run in the "Production Class". They could remove the seats and then add that metal grille plate and the car would run in the "Altered Class".

maybe it was fitted just to sell !! The article talks about the guy sleeping on the back seat during line up for the races. So it was there for all the runs....
