Roadrunner non AG hood to Superbird air grabber hood conversion

 If anybody's interested this is one way to build it.
1st cut off the front of the RR hood....formed sheet draw down piece for front of scoop...and grafted in top and bottom sheet steel using sheet for extension, flat bar and 1/4" square rod for the front side corners etc. Rear sides of hood are pie cut.

Cut the hole in the hood based on a original AG hood numbers

Pie cut the sides and tacked on a temp metal strip on top to hold the shape to weld piece underneath

Ya if you can find a S bird hood...I would use one too., even a 70 coronet hood is pricey and not to common..used 70 RR hoods are less so. ;)
