Where can I find the interior measurements for headroom and legroom? I want to measure because I fell something is off? MY HEAD SEEMS to close to the roof and when I sit sideways as Iam getting in the car, I don't fit! my ass hits the seat and steering wheel! Iam a little over weight but really is that normal! IAM 5 9 195lbs. 1970 charger rt

I've got no numbers for you, but seems odd because I'm 6'1" , long torso, and was 280# (now a studly 240# and rock hard) (in my dreams) and still fit in my Road Runner just fine.

I'm guessing the Charger's seat height has been altered in some fashion.

By the way, I LOVE the title of the thread.  Please don't correct it.

It looks like its the correct bracket based on a site posted oh this site. You can sit sideways getting into the car and your ass doesn't hit the steering wheel? I must have a big ass or there is something wrong here!

Dino

I'm 5' 11" and have plenty room all around so I'd say something's wrong there.

Hey do you have references points for these measurements?

I would say for headroom - seat to roof
Legroom - back of seat to floor behind the pedals? Or to the pedals
Track front - not sure where to measure from for this

frank1966

I measured the headroom, off by about 4 inches! I posed a pic of my brackets and seats on a previous post. I don't know what the bracket installed is suppose to look like or ifs even the correct one. Can the bracket be installed wrong? I do notice adjustment screws? - it wont make up 4 inches. I also notice the seats sit higher than the center console. Can someone send me a pic of their bracket from the side and the front on a 70 charger? I cant find any pics of what its suppose to look like. thanks
