I am having difficulty figuring out the positioning of the front license plate bracket/holder for my 74.  When I installed it, the bracket seems to be missing something.  Do the top holes on the license plate bolt into anything, or does it simply bolt on from the bottom holes?  If anyone has any pictures of the correct positioning, and location of the brackets that would be a great help.

Thanks,

The license plate bolts on from the bottom only. It pushes against a rubber bumper.

Sorry to revive an old thread. But it is relative to my question. That bracket that mounts to the valence with 4 bolts and then the license plate attaches to it. Anyone know where you can get that piece? Does anyone remake it? I have a 74 charger that was from a state that did not require the front license plate but my state does. So, I need to add this bracket. Where to find it?

I will give them a try. I don't mind used. This part would be easy to clean up and paint. Thanks for the suggestions.
