Has this car been out and about lately? Does it still wear the custom Graphics from years back?

This is one car I've always wanted to see in person. The car's been out here with me
in California my whole life , but I have never seen it ... 70's 80's 90's 2000's.......
I'm sure Sean "C5X" can give us the latest scoop!!!
Jim told me he missed buying the car by a week or two back in the day...
If I had the bucks, the Keith Black car would be the second car I'd make a run at.
The first would be Jim's Ultimate.... here's me pretending like its mine out at Riverside.

I thought it had been restored back to F6.

I think the blue paint job above is recent.

I guess the car has never had a real resto done?

Does it need one?  (I kind of like the current look myself)

Just looking at the pics of the underside it looks to have some surface rust happening. It needs a top notch resto BACK to the Blue  - red combo with the American Daisies back on.

You caught the bug early.

Thank God there's no cure for any of us!!!

My Dad let me take the majority of shots at the National Meet in 78. I had a rough
time because no one would move out of my way to take a picture and everyone ignored me because I was a kid .... here's a couple that caught my eye...

Jim told me the Daisies ended up on this car. When I took these pictures Jim didn't
own the car yet. It was owned by the curator of the Otis Chandler Museum ...
early 90's Spring or Fall Flling.

The F6 Car mentioned above did have the "Daiseys" on it when Jim had it.  My brother bought that car from Jim in 1984.  He never did get it off the ground (it was in pieces when he got it from Jim).  He subsequently sold to to Greg Joseph who then restored it as it appears in the pictures above.  My brother kept the "daiseys" and they ended up on a 71 Super Bee.

Chris ,thanks for setting the record straight. It's possible the car went back
to Jim in partial trade for his Hemi Daytona,s... Those daisies have to be the most
expensive in the world, I know I'd want them if I had Jim's petty blue masterpiece.
We talked briefly when you were out here in California with your red 68 Hemi
4sp Charger RT. My Daytona was one number behind yours...410768.

Love Fest,
that's Pete's 66 Hemi in the backround. After he bought the car
from Jim, I never saw it again, I wish we took more pictures of it...

Was the petty blue and red Daytona the one that had an article on it in Hot Rod probably in the late 70s? It was kind of a "Test Drive" type of article. I will see if I can find the magazine this weekend.
I also seem to remember the same car featured on a muffler ad. I am thinking maybe Maremont brand mufflers. I will have to find this ad since I had it on my bedroom wall when I was 15.
