In my original sunroof Charger post, 66FBCharger asked about percentages of sunroof cars that were 4-speeds, or came with SE package. With the help of Chris, Shawn, Dan, Tan Top and a few others, I have compiled some numbers for you to chew on.

So far, we have run across 47 surviving 1969 sunroof Chargers. So we are sitting at just over 12% of the original production of 391.
Additionally, there are two R/T SE sunroof cars that may or may not exist - but we have their broadcast sheets.

Updated 11/17/2015 - Another R/T SE car has turned up.

1969 sunroof pamphlet can be found here:
http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,109801.0.html

Model breakdown:

XS29 R/T's - 24 (of which 19 are SE's - 2 are just broadcast sheets)
XP29 - 25 (of which 9 are SE's)

Engine breakdown:

440-4bbl - 24
383-4bbl - 15
383-2bbl - 6
318-2bbl - 1

Transmission breakdown:

Auto - 46
4 spd - 2 ( 1 XP29 and 1 R/T)

Body color breakdown:

7 are - T5 Copper.
5 are - X9 Black.
4 each of - B5 Bright Blue, R4 Bright Red.
3 each of - F3 Light Green, V2 Hemi Orange, Y2 Yellow.
2 each of - B3 Light Blue, F5 Medium Green, F6 Bright Green, Y4 Gold.
1 each of - A4 Silver, F8 Dark Green, Q5 Turquoise, R6 Red, T3 Light Bronze, T7 Dark Bronze, W1 White, Y3 Cream, 99 Butterscotch.

Enjoy!

So let's find a Hemi one.  :icon_smile_big:
That's my question also - Is/was there ever a 1969 Hemi sunroof car - In 1970 there was.

Tan Top,
I have partial tag data for most of them, Pictures for about half, and Fender Tag Pic/Info or Buildsheet Pic/Info for about a third of them. I need to update my 1969 sunroof Charger pamphlet - maybe by the end of the weekend.

Scott,
Could I get a copy of the sunroof pamphlet you mentioned?
The two surviving 4 speed cars, can you provide some more info on them? Are they R/Ts? Do you have pics of them? I have a R/T 4 speed car now. But, to me, the ultimate would be to own a R/T 4 speed sunroof car.

Hey John,
The 1969 sunroof pamphlet I have posted in another sunroof thread. I will post it here also. I am still in the process of updating it with the 1969 Charger registry cars. I should have it updated by Sunday evening (9/28). I will PM you with what I have on the two 4-speed cars.

Hey Jim,
I have run across your FC7 car in a couple of posts you authored either here or over at the 70 Charger Registry. That was a very nice score. If you could pass along any info/pics on that black 1969 sunroof Charger, that would be awesome.
Thanks, Scott.

I bought the entire roof from a guy that parted the car out several years ago.

I later transplanted the sunroof mechanism into my car.

The roof came off of a yellow with white interior 1970 Dodge Charger.  :Twocents:

Yes, the roof was from an original factory sunroof car. ;)

Would you by chance have any additional details on that 70 Dodge Charger sunroof car that was sacrificed??
Thanks, Scott.

Sacrificed ?   :shruggy:

To be clear:

I didn't do it.  :nono:

The car was long dead and gone when I bought the sunroof and some other parts the guy kept off of it.

Besides...

It was a '70  :eek2:...

So...

What is the XH for in '70?

as far as I know  , the XH charger  1970 , was a base model ,  bench seat ,  no upper door pads , no clock , no belt mouldings  ,
I await to be corrected on any of this , by the 70 charger mob  :2thumbs: :coolgleamA:
