Mytur Binsdirti

175 large is a lot of money for a car that needs to be done over.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of Darts and Super Bees with bench seats suddenly cried out for those headrests and were suddenly silenced.  I fear something terrible has happened.

Maybe this is the only red Daytona ever to be converted to F8?

curious :shruggy:
Nope.  Not this well at least. Its not unusual to have some overspray from when the plug and trunk were painted though.

Okay thanks  So the base and R/T 68-70 Chargers did not get overspray on the fuel filler tubes because there were not any additional painting after they were installed on the assembly line?

5hunert

Yep.  On a non-aero car the fuel filler went on long after the painting was done.

The federal government mandated headrests starting January 1, 1969.  So yes there are a pile of early cars without them but all daytonas are equipped.

I don't think there was anything with a painted filler neck tube. Now, there might have been a slight amount of overspray while being converted at Creative, but that would be the most...... Superbirds, which were built on the Assembly line, would never have paint on the filler tube.....
