I'm installing a new dash and front light harness in my 70 and just spent 2 hours searching for how the fuse box mounts to the metal tab? I found the correct screw for it on eBay (While searching.) and looking at the box, picture of the screw and tab in the glove box area can't put it together in my head?  :brickwall:

I'm starting to feel overlooked........ The seller sent info but still not clear.........I will assume the box goes behind the steel plate/tab and the screw is big enough to screw into the plastic tube part of the fuse box.  :scratchchin:

you prolly got it sorted now  , but heres mine  :yesnod:

** incase anyone is wondering ,   piece of fuel hose , is just incase the wires coming out the fuse box , chafe / rub on the sharp dash frame , there is a 1/2 inch gap , but I always over think stuff  :image_294343: , had to slide it  to the right  in picture  , to  un plug the ac wiring etc  ,  normally goes  right under the  wires out the fuse box ****

Thanks! I kinda thought that was the only way but the screw just came today. Good idea protecting the wires, I'll do that!   :2thumbs:
