I cannot recall the name of it for the life of me, but there was a movie my kids were all over as youngsters.  One of the kids' dad had a 2nd gen - cannot even remember for sure if it was a 68, 69 or 70 - that the kids swiped toward the end of the movie.  All I remember is that one kid, the bully, proclaimed that "you're USDA dead meat."  2000-ish, maybe?

The gladiator with ken whal I think had 69 in it. The cars were used on dukes before that! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LiSrNVOtGs

Just curious how is it known that the car was used on the Dukes before this... anyway, i found some pics. the car was a '69 and had a full brush guard. and some extra lighting

Let me remind you of one more...
The movie  'CORKY' with a young Robert Blake as the lead.
The movie copy was salvaged years ago but critical parts of the film had deteriorated too much to re-use. When shown new it had actual bumper-to-bumper 180 mph high banked driving of Daytonas 5 to 10 feet apart for the film shoot and it was unbelievable. The Coca Cola Daytona was one of them. The High bank Daytona scenes DID NOT survive the film recovery process.  Blake drove a 68-69 Barracuda with a Wing bolted to it and was suppose to be an ex-Grande National driver.
To add another mind blower to this movie... Jim Morrison of THE DOORS was initially asked to star in the movie lead role but turned it down because he thought the story was too lame. Can you imagine if Morrison had made the movie! Just another part of American history for you young guys.

Add the movie Joyride from 1977, another 1968 charger wrecked from slamming into a 63 Pontiac ambulance and going into a lake.
