I am trying to gather some data on the 5 button control switches. There are several different numbers and superseded parts.
Does any one know the the original number for a 68?
I have noticed that some replacement switches keep the 2 terminals that control the AC clutch ON when the switch is off and pushed in. You can turn it "off" by pulling the off button out. I assume this switch is for a different model but is claimed to interchange. The original switch that came out did not do this, When it was off all was off. I will start posting numbers and more info as soon as I get some more data. I have taken these switches apart so I can actually see what is going on they are not defective. I want to start out with 1968 and work out from there as I know there were several models that used this switch. Hopefully we can come up with a  number data base of what is interchangeable and what could be modified to work.
Thanks
Dave
