My father bought this car in '85 does anyone know how to find out where the car was sold new? We have gone  to DMV, Galian Glo?? With know luck. We bought it from Ed Wilson in Lynchburg VA ( a mopar junk yard). He bought it from the Dinwiddie/ Petersburg VA area.
The car came with three build sheets that we're all wrong. It has the finder tag so we have that info.
So, how do I find any info on this car?

Picks to come in a few.

thanks,
Khill

Check with Don at the 1970 Charger Registry to see if he has any info on your car - http://www.1970chargerregistry.com/

He would also love to see scans of the sheets you found.

http
This was about'90, car only had 70k on it.

khill

Sorry for the big pics, I'm still figuring photobucket out. The car was pretty straight , it got a new quarter and trunk floor. This was in the mid 90's.

hemi-hampton

Whered you find a full 1/4 in mid 90's? was it NOS? LEON.

khill

Body and paint guy supplied the quarter. Wish I had a few more of them.

472 R/T SE

Wow, countless people restore their ride to tribute that combination & you have one from the factory.  That car had to be cool back then too?

If you contact Don & register those broadcast sheets, he may have yours???

May I ask what month the car was built?

khill

August '69 I believe. I'm pretty sure he has checked with the Charger registry and came up empty handed again.

khill

A few more parts getting ready for paint.

charger chris

there was a place up in mich that made full 1/4s for a very short time in the 90s. only reason i know this i save the money up to get them and they had stop makeing them some bought them out. that i was told.

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
