Car was in Street Machine magazine back about 1977.   Same paint job.   Just the wheels are different now.   Old school day 2 machine.

I remember Gene McRiley well as a kid.  He was a motor cycle officer in Los Angeles in the mid 70s.    I don't ever remember hearing that this car ran on the salt or any other track.

Funny, I recognized from the other shots of back in the day. Super cool car, another example of a car that's been modified for longer than it was stock. I saw it at the mecum auction and wished I had a bidders pass when I saw what it went for.
