That's one way to describe that car. I would think it would look better with wheels any other color than that blue.  shruggy

Car was in Street Machine magazine back about 1977.   Same paint job.   Just the wheels are different now.   Old school day 2 machine.

I remember Gene McRiley well as a kid.  He was a motor cycle officer in Los Angeles in the mid 70s.    I don't ever remember hearing that this car ran on the salt or any other track.
That is Dave A. "Daytona Enthusiast" in this shot.

Funny, I recognized from the other shots of back in the day. Super cool car, another example of a car that's been modified for longer than it was stock. I saw it at the mecum auction and wished I had a bidders pass when I saw what it went for.

It never ran either.   There is NO way that car would pass tech at Bonneville to legally do 181.

Sorry, just can't take it any longer! Been biting my tongue sense the 1st pix.  Tongue

But why the tiny typically 2.5-4psi fuel pump and regulator on the ps inner fender?

Is it the only pump, ...or is it a primer for long time setting in between start ups?

Inquiring minds want to know. slap shruggy

It's pretty cool the car is still identical to how it appeared in Street Machine magazine in the late 70's.   I think I heard that a friend of Charlie Glotzbach was the most recent owner.     That was as of last summer.
