hello all I'm in need of rebuilding my original 69 bird cage alternator well at least that's what i heard them being called .can anyone post a link were i can buy a full rebuild kit for it bearings diodes  etc as I've done a web search with no luck much appreciated

thanks nascarxx .hey bronze dodge did you have to do any mods to your electrical from standard or upgrade alternator only

I went through each and every connection in the power supply/charge circuit and cleaned every connection.  Cleaned the bulkhead connectors - removed the male and female terminals.  You need a very small straight blade screwdriver to release the terminal.  Helps to have a spare to practice on.  Cleaned them w/ Scotchbrite, contact cleaner, then reinstalled w/ dielectric grease.  Cleaned the fuse box terminals.  I have a new amp gauge from OER, will install that in a few weeks.  When I got my 69 the terminals at the back of the amp gauge had worked loose.   :o
