Hi guys!

Can anyone post a picture of the 4 speed reverse light's place on a '68 charger?
I have never seen one in any interior shot so no idea where it would go!
Since i haven't seen any, does it mean people don't use them?

Thanks,

Peter

I believe that feature was introduced in 1970.

BLK 68 R/T

They started in 68 but some of the early built 4 speed cars did not come with it from what I have read. The factory hole is down by the ashtray and is roughly a 3/4" with a small slot.

The Inland shifter, with a reverse lock-out, was used until early '68...it did not need a reverse light to inform the driver that he was in reverse. The Hurst shifter, the heir to the Inland, did not have a positive lock-out and so the light was used.

The location of the light should be in past posts.
