Trying to get the detailing on the 440 done.  Is the air cleaner a crinkle paint?  Is the throttle linkage bracket and return spring bracket, and coil bracket semi flat black or orange like the block? Thanks!

1. The throttle return spring bracket is orange, painted when the motor is.. But, make sure you have the negative battery cable install first, then paint.
2. Rear throttle bracket is to be installed first, then painted with the motor
3. The coil bracket is NOT painted.. it is left natural...

The second picture is more accurate with the Dual-Point Prestolite since it is a 4speed car and the wiper motor is a 68-earlier version, so don't use these pictures as reference for that...

You have a hemi Charger Daytona, I would guess you would trade the Bird for one of the two you mentioned?

If it was the right "wow" car for me.. Granted, my Daytona has a Hemi in it, but I would like to have an original "j" code '69 to compliment the Daytona. The Daytona was always a "dream car" of mine, something I thought would never be attainable as a young guy, so I set my realistic goals on a '69 Hemi Charger R/T 4speed..  Ironic as it is, of all the Charger pedigrees I've owned, a '69 Charger R/T is the one that has eluded me...  :nana:
