Jack VIN tag up and drive a new car underneath?

I am totally curious as to how they reached this conclusion. Was it somehow saved or rebody? The owner wants 170K for it.

As mentioned earlier in this thread,  how exactly does one fix this?    As a result of the fire, the car hangs on both ends like a banana.   

It would be on the seller to provide clarity on how the restoration was performed.    Unlikely there will be a detailed photo album of the resto that they are willing to share.
