I am having Glenn Ray restore my radiator.  They called and asked for the build date to insure I get the proper brackets????  the VIN is XX29L9B239388, can any one give me the build date from that info?

I don't think the build date has to be "exact" since they are all really just the scheduled date.  How about looking at the C500 registry and finding cars real close to yours.  You should be in a window of time that would be somewhat close.  Does Glen-Ray have info regarding why the date is important?  Is there something that says "all cars built after 11-15-68 have a change" or something like that?

They have a build date is December of 68 on my Radiator.  He said it had to do with the brackets??????

The "SCHEDULED" date for your car would've been 12/4/68 (SPD = C04 for xx29l9b239388)
radiator would've been dated before the car was actually built
is the radiator you are having restored original from your car?  if so nothing would need to be swapped as far as brackets

brackets are dated when the radiator is assembled or tested at the manufacturer (of the radiator)
