Hello fellers,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good thread on how to re-wire a wiper motor for a '69 3-speed control. Doesn't have to be real fancy, I'm mostly looking for A decent wiring diagram. I'm not a stickler on it being prefect, just want it to look decent and work again. mine used to work until recently but it seems the housing in the wiring has dried out and has started falling apart. Thanks in advance!

the second link may not have to much, do you have the field service manual? it should have the diagram in it

I should have been more clear, sorry about that

The dash side of my wiring is brand new and hooked up to the switch. Where I have my problems is with the harness under the hood. All the wiring on the motor is in real rough shape and falling apart.  When i re made the harnesses to hook up to the new bulkhead, I used the same butchered wiring that was already there (stupid, I know :s) and it appears I connected the wiring incorrectly. I think my best bet is to pull the motor and harness and take pictures and label what color the wires are, and where I connected them. Thank you for the links, do you know of any where they're restoring the motor part? I found one a while back but it wasn't a full on resto thread, more of an "update" thread.

Brown, Red, Green, Blue is the order on the firewall connector.. left to right when looking at the firewall from engine compartment. I know it because I tested my motor for run and parking yesterday.

That is actually very helpful. I meant to take a look at mine to compare today and got too busy. I think I used the old diagrams when I did it, but I'm almost sure I did it wrong.

Looks like I got that part right going into the bulkhead, just not sure if I spliced those into the motor correctly. Anyone know the function of those colors?

Birdsandbees, could I get you to post a pick of the wiring going into your wiper motor?

Will try to remember tomorrow, it's still sitting on the bench.

I really appreciate you doing that and labeling it. That should really help. I'm debating on tackling that or my fuel sender next.
