On a 1973 or 74 has any one came across this red in line ground fuse under the dash by the steering column ?

Thank you there was a weird device on the front of the car behind the grill like a motion detector in a peice of cardboard.When I pulled the wires out I noticed a toggle switch with a red wire connected and a blue wire cut off now I think that might be what the inline fuse was connected to.There was also this toggle sitch off the horn relay lol .

I figured out what the inline fuse was for there was a toggle switch with a red wire and a blue wire the blue wire was cut apart from the toggle.I think I'll just cut the inline fuse out cut the blue wire solder it apply a peice of heat shrink and call it good like it's suppose to be

Looks like an attempt at a hood alarm to deter theives from helping themselves to engine parts or  trying to sabatoge the engine and tranny  :Twocents:

I found more wires leading down the drivers side over the rear axle up to the bumper and found another toggle switch mounted underneath. That's 3 toggles for one device lol .
