Well since you asked for other cars than just Superbirds.

XX29J9B133984 would have been in St. Joseph or Louisiana Missouri. Only time possibly to be advertised would have been between October 1968-July 69.

California cars were the only ones advertised with the VIN listed. But, I have found other VINs listed in other States from auctions, repossession, etc.

Your VIN came up empty. But I would be more than glad to search for the dealership where it was sold new or used, if you know their names or towns and states. And with that I would need to know as much detail about the car as possible.....stuff that would be mentioned in the ads.

B54SPEED, here is the ad I mentioned.
(Not sure why it's so HUGE. Right-click on the image, then Click "View Image".

New guy here. I was wondering if you could find any information on my bird. It's a petty blue car that originally sold from Stockton, California. Pretty sure my car sat on the lot until the middle of 1971.

Searching for both your VIN and the Stockton dealership, 1969 - 1972.....found nothing.

He sent it in a PM.  Some prefer to keep it private.

so if you find the ad, it would have to stay private as well since the vin would be in it.

If that's what is requested.  Numerous owners have trusted me with information, that's they've requested for me to keep private. Not a problem.

Would you happen to know of any years where it would have been advertised for sale? If so, where would it have been located at that time?

Thanks,
Jay

I don't, unfortunately. But, in a rare twist of fate, we met with someone who may be the original owner's son at a local car show. He's originally from Atlanta and his father purchased an Alpine White, 440+6 bird, automatic, new from the dealer. They owned it up to about the early 90's. Wonder if this car would have been advertised in and around the Atlanta area at the time.
