I assume this is a complete hoax. I figured I would have heard about it by now it was actual history. The wheels look new to me - not 68 Nascar vintage, and the ceramic hooker headers certainly are not correct.

The ebay ad sounds like an April fools joke, but that car looks like one made by an older gentleman fairly local to me. That collage of construction photos looks very familiar. He certainly wasn't trying to pass it off as anything but something he wanted to create.
