Can I still reuse my 6 bolt,  143 tooth, 11inch flywheel for a hemi engine? Or is it useless unless I have anither big block?

I know of no reason why you cannot use a 6 bolt flywheel on a hemi engine provided you have a 6 bolt crank shaft in that hemi. :shruggy:
However I am still learning new things. :slap:

I also have only known of them being "factory" 8 bolt.  But wouldn't a 440 crank (for example) fit in the block?

Troy

Stock: no

You can build a Hemi with a 440 crank (if you're into mixing and matching parts). If you're buying a newly built engine then you'll need whatever matches it.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
