I bet the bees and bugs really like that big yellow moving flower in the summertime

by the look of that fender tag - it was originally "butterscotch" (EL5)  :Twocents:

Ghoste

The engine bay shot though, looks like it was yellow (with a Chevy black overspray at some point).

Hard to tell with the 50 year old grimy paint.

by the look of that fender tag - it was originally "butterscotch" (EL5)   The A12 Superbees were available in Bahama Yellow . Maybe the original buyer saw one of the A12 Superbees that were Red,then repainted Bahama Yellow to promote the new color in that color and ordered a Charger in that color.  I personally hate the color, but it would make for a very unique Charger.

The only time I see that much pinstriping on a vehicle is on contractor's work trucks whose last name ends in a vowel.

there were "Bahama yellow" 99 paint code Road Runners as early as October '68 (originally a '67 Porsche color)

Just 6T9 CHGR

I'd love to see under the trunk mat or behind the rear seats for the original color.  I am guessing Bahama Yellow as well
Chris' '69 Charger R/T

Code EL5 disappeared for 1970 but made a brief comeback for the 1971 model year. I restored a 71 Challenger Convertible this color about 30 years ago. LEON.
