I am converting my 68 to electronic ignition with the MP Conversion Kit.  The kit came with a resistor but I'm going to be using an MSD Blaster coil.  Which resistor do I need?  I already wired everything for a resistor

The one that came with the kit does not fit in the stock location.  I am going to pick one up that fits.  Just need to know how many OHMs.

Thanks for the help!!!!

Pretty sure the MP and the ones coming with MSD coils are rated about the same... .8 to 1 ohm. So anything between .5 and 1 should match propperly

( Good luck with the MP ECU )

If you have a multitester, can check the ohms of the MP one

there is a variable too, if they are thermal or not. As far I know thermal ones are the ones with resistor visible on back, and non thermal are the ones fully covered with the epoxy. Not sure though
