I don't know. These pics were posted on a FB group called Non-Winged AeroCar Warriors of the late 1960s.

For anyone following this thread. Is Jim Walton still around? If he is is it possible to get hold of him and talk with him about this car?

69_500

I have not talked to Jim Walton in several years. Maybe Rick Edwards will chime in here.

I seem to remember having a copy of that video maybe 25-30 years ago. I believe it was something to do with John Pappas from '5-Star videos' (?), who did the video coverage of all the National Mopar meets. I also remember they were driving around in a gold 71 Hemi Charger....

Does anyone know which video that would be from 5 star? Would like to have a copy of it. Rick Edwards is a wealth of knowledge,  visited his place last year on the way down to Atlanta. Wanted to buy one of his cars but wife put the brakes on me buying anymore cars. Need to get a bigger garage.

Yes,
Jim Walton is around and doing ok. I was just down his place yesterday actually.

Im sure he'll remember the car ( maybe ? )  If he remembers exact details about it  is the question.

Got any current pics of the car ?
I would love to see them. Good to hear its getting restored  but that car was hurt BAD . Never in a million years did I think it would ever be restored

Here are a couple pics of this car taken around 1996.

The car is currently all cleaned out and the front is cut off for the new clip install. When I see the owner I will see if I can get a few pics of the car as it currently sits.

It had a repaint from A4 to red sometime before it was wrecked. A4 is notoriously bad and wears off in a couple years.

Wow your car has disc brakes up front!  Can't wait to see it on the road. Its great you saved the car.

gtx6970

Good to see it. I've wondered over the years if that car ever got restored ( with the damage it had I didn't think it would to be honest )

In this picture to the left of the 500 is a pale yellow 1968 Hemi Road Runner body  and to the right is my old 69 A12 Road runner sedan ( none of the cars in that picture are still there btw )

This has to be the same car  :shruggy: looks to be on the same trailer as the photos taken in 1996. I swear I see silver under the red and it looks to have red interior but don't see the tow hitch. Also that was me that posted those pics on facebook. I was interested on where this car ended up  :2thumbs:
