I saw the post on the Charger that was in Friday The 13th,my son being a fan of those movies made me aware of that scene for some time.
So you guys may already know of this episode, But in I think season 1 of Knight Rider there is an episode in which Michael Knight and KITT enter some race undercover to bust up some crime ring/bad guys. And in the race part of the episode one of the other cars KITT must race with is an orange 69 Dodge Charger with the American racing/vector wheels(General Lee style) on it. Also just to go one step further the driver of the orange Charger is a good old country boy,or boys it has been a long time the last time I watched that episode.
I will try and do some research and find out exactly what season and episode # it was,and maybe get a photo of the rip off General Lee from the show. I am not good with links and what not so if someone has this info and can put a link to the show off of You tube or what ever that would be cool.
For all I know this might be something that is common knowledge on here and you guys are well aware of it. But I thought it was so funny to see the dukes rip off they did on that show, they had to know what they were doing, all they were missing is a Mr.T look a like driving a black GMC van in that episode.

It was in this episode:

you can watch it here:

This is from IMDB, I am not sure how true this is:
In this episode, an orange Dodge Charger is a participant in the race. The car is driven by a pair of relatives, one with blonde hair, and one with dark hair. The pair have a Dixie flag on their uniforms. Also, their vehicle is powered by moonshine. This seems like a reference to the series The Dukes of Hazzard, where a pair of cousins drive an orange Dodge Charger with a confederate flag painted on the roof, and have a family history of driving moonshine around a dry county.

The Orange '69 Dodge Charger complete with 10 spoke American Racing Vector wheels was actually a General Lee stunt car purchased from Warner Bros.

KITT jumps the general lee in this episode too, some say it was a jab at the DOH, not sure

Thanks, Luke...I appreciate the effort but...
That NBC site sucks ass. Friggin jerkoffs. They load the thing with ads. If you try to skip forward in the TV portion, it just jumps into more ads. If I wanted to watch commercials, I'd just watch regular TV. What a pain in the dick.

Yes it does suck. Lol. There's about seven ads before you get to start the show, then every 5 min. or so there more.
What good is watching it online if you can't skip the ads and get to the point.
Should seen what it took to get the footage from that ghost rider charger.  :eek2: :smilielol:

It's funny, as the fire in the pic you show is real, but not HUGE.... When they show the car engulfed in flames though, it's actually a 4 door chrysler/dodge burning...
