Bluetooth and wifi issue on Windows 10 laptop

I have an Asus laptop that's less than a year old. It's running Windows 10 64. I just bought some Bluetooth headphones and I get occasional audio skipping where the sound drops for a second or so or it skips multiple times for one or two seconds. I updated all my drivers through the Asus website but the problem persisted. The skipping is worse when playing video than playing mp3s but it occurs with both.

After a while I figured I'd turn off wifi just to see what happens and that fixed it, no more skipping. But that's not actually a solution!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Too many devices using the same frequency. Hard wiring solves the problem.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Good read, thanks.

I wish I could but all I can do here is use wifi. I do have a bunch of wifi stuff running so I'll see if shutting everything else down works and go from there.
