This guy uses every popular keyword within the first two sentences.  As the owner states this car is a all original time capsule.

I have a couple questions. The front seat, was this bench really an option in 70?  I noticed the seat covers are not even close to factory.  Also the steering wheel, never seen one like that before.

I also hate when people paint the engines while still in the car.  The guy went crazy with the turquoise paint and it appears nothing was safe from his spray can.

Calls it original survivor, I say Bullsh*t after seeing the obvious replaced 1/4 panel on passenger side. maybe even drivers side but did not show good pics of that side. Then they painted over rust in trunk. My car was cleaner then this one. LEON. :shruggy: :Twocents: :slap: :brickwall:

I like it. That car will make a great driver and cruiser.

Bench seat was an option on the base model '70. Actually, I think it was standard. Not sure about the 500 and R/T but it's my understanding that both had the interior upgrades like that of a standard '68 and '69. Base model '70s had a front bench, no upper door pads and other various deletions to cut costs.

This is weird too. I'm no '70 expert but I'm pretty sure all the 2nd gens had the pentastar emblem on the passenger fender, not the driver.

Not sure about standard in the R/T but my father's '70 R/T was bench seat although had the buddy seat option and a 4 speed. Anyone who has sat in the "bitch seat" in a car with a standard transmission knew it sucked  :icon_smile_big:

Completely original my butt! I'm not saying it's a bad car, but whoever wrote the description for the ad is full of it. He sounds like a typical used car salesman.  Probably a flipper that thinks if he uses just the right words, posts a crap load of poor photo images of the car and some paper work, and calls it a barn find, people will be stupid enough to pay a premium price for it.
A car is either completely original or it's not. This one most definitely is NOT. I hope people won't be gullible enough to be sucked in by this guys lies. People that will say anything just to sell a vehicle really rub me wrong.  :flame:

There is a Pentastar on both sides of this car. No Pentastar on a Normal cars left side, right side only gets a Pentastar.

The front seat upholstery is obviously not original. It should match the rear and be vinyl.
Not a bad car, so why be an ass and misrepresent it? The inner RH door jamb does look like a boogered quarter panel weld and paint repair.

So he can ask more for it from somebody who doesn't have an eye for boogers like many members here do.

Because I was bored I decoded the fender tag to see if it matched what he was saying in his ad:
