Here is the optional rim-blow steering wheel for all models of the '70 Charger.  Even though the car isn't exactly as the seller advertises it, it still looks like a great car to have.

I have a tough time believing the low mileage numbers because of the amount of repair work thats been done and how the underneath of the car looks like it has seen alot of road miles.

And there's a lot of built up gunk on the front of the left side axle housing tube for such low mileage. Even the rear end housing tubes on my unmolested '68 Coronet with 72,000 miles on didn't look like that when I bought it three years ago. Sure makes you wonder what the truth about this car really is.  :shruggy:

Doesn't look like factory spot welds on 1/4 to me. :scratchchin: :shruggy: :slap:

A few inches up from the bottom , that's one of the body lines I'm talking about that is supposed to be " softly" curved , not sharply bent like this . Dead give away on any Charger !!!

It's funny how popular the dog dish caps are now considering they were the low-end standard originally. I personally don't like any of the hub cap upgrades that were offered besides those. I'd toss those wire caps in the nearest dumpster without even feeling bad.

Nice car considering the age, but some things don't seem right. The mileage doesn't look like 31k based on the amount of caked on grease on the rear end. Looks more like the odo rolled over and it has 131K. You can tell the motor has been power washed, valve covers have been re-painted. Lower quarter lines aren't right and obviously have been re-painted, rear valence corners look to have been smoothed over and small gaps formed. Trunk floor has odd lines like a patch was installed and painted to match.

here is a link to the old ebay auction in December where it was sold for 15.500 $

You can see a lot of rust around the quarters, torn off v-top tired engine etc.

Seller states in the auction that it has 200k + miles

So now it has become a 31k Miles car by wonder

Holy crap, we have the evidence!

Both quarters forward of the rear wheels look to have been patched. The valence corners have been replaced. The Pentastar on the LH lwr fender wasapplied and the car had a dull repaint to simulate faded original paint. What a lying asshole of a seller!

Kern Dog

48 miles added to the car since the last sale.
I don't have a problem with a guy buying and selling to make money. I DO have a problem with bullshit and deception. The car looks decent but it is not properly represented. It has had rust repair, some paint work, a non stock seat and a few other things wrong. It is either totally original or it is not. This car is far from "totally" original.

Notice how the back half of under rocker (or lower 1/4) on passenger side is nice & clean with fresh paint :scratchchin: then notice how front half looks to have the rough dirty beat up surface rust under it :scratchchin: Hmmm I wonder why :scratchchin: Could it be because it had a new 1/4 or patch put on it? The car is a nice car, Just not as nice as the description said. False advertising. LEON.

That is great detective work.  :2thumbs:

I dont remember that car either and I hit E-Bay ten times a day.

The guy is obviously a slim.  If this thing sells to the right person, he may find himself in court.

I agree....he could have just showed the work done and probably got the same return anyway, in  an honest transaction...

It's obviously not totally original, even to an amateur.

YEP !  :2thumbs:
If a guy looks back at the rust in the first auction last Dec 2016, that sure looks like rust coming back through a Bondo'd prior repair to me as well ?
