Almost looks like the horizontal wing is bare aluminum. I understand that the sunlight reflection off the white paint could lead me to believe that, but the end (edge) of the horizontal wing looks bare.  I forget: was this edge supposed to be painted or not?

Going off thread a bit here, but maybe someone can post me a link to a previous thread on this: did Clairpointe save time and assemble the 3-piece wings first then bolt them on the car?  From the Dave Patik information: "Wings and noses were painted in lacquer before installation on the car." So maybe the wings were shipped assembled to Clairpointe or in 3 pieces?
