Hmm. This one on eBay has a 2nd fender tag that simply says "power window".

I have never seen one of these in all my years. Anyone know the story on this? Perhaps they thought the assy line workers would be so shocked that power windows were to be installed in the lowly Roadrunner that they has to make sure! The code for PW "P31" is already on the tag.

Good looking car! Other than the California emissions crap under the hood.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I think the extra tag was to make sure the body and doors were drilled for the wiring harnesses.  Could you imagine the body going down the assembly line after being assembled and painted and the holes not being there for the wires?   I had a 1972 green Charger Brougham that power windows. It had the extra tag screwed on the apron. I also found a blue tag under the carpet with "PW" stamped in it.  WINGNUT

Thanks for the input. It's an interesting theory, but then how come you don't see them all or most PW cars? I've had several PW cars and none of them had any special tags for PW, so I wonder why sometimes, but not all the time? Maybe the "PW" tags are for the Monday production line
