I came across the strangest thing about the 2ndgen Barracudas...

https://books.google.com/books?id=o4wNh7QuIr4C&pg=PA40&lpg=PA40&dq=milt+antonick&source=bl&ots=Cwebr42Bw6&sig=COn15cvnsnRL8k3vLTwQVnsI9fA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi328P6hebSAhVK-GMKHf6nCZMQ6AEIMjAG#v=onepage&q=milt%20antonick&f=false

Seems like the designer of the 1st gen Barracudas was a guy named Milt Antonik. And here is another article on it...

I have to say, although I like the 2nd gen Barracudas a lot, I think I like the SX even better, even if it does sort of look like a Mercury. What do you guys think?

I like it.  Thanks, that is interesting.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

The SX looks like a Torino with a '72 Fury grill.

The front end of conceptual drawing of the red car looks like an overstyled Buick Riviera from that era.
