I was wondering what is the best way to reconnect the trim back on the taillights?

Before I removed them they were bonded on with some kind of black adhesive. Held on well, but can be removed easily when needed.

What should I use, what do you guys use?

Anyone on what to use to hold the Trim pieces back on the taillights?

OEM trim was installed with molded in pins on the bezel that get staked/ peened over once installed ? .

My pins are short, I guess snapped over time, and some of the plastic pieces on the lens broken, won't work either way.

Mine were held on by some black adhesive. I am trying to figure out what others use that will hold on well. Black caulk, silicone adhesive, gasket maker stuff?

3M black super weatherstrip adhesive might work for it  :shruggy:
