Anybody ever use their lacquer paint, was wondering about the quality and ease of use?

Can't find a whole lot of info on their paint.

I use it on model cars all the time. Never tried it on 1/1s

Well, guess that sums it up pretty good. Too bad, I liked their candy apple green.

Hi,

Back in the 70's and 80's acrylic lacquer was one of the two common paints. I used to use PPG acrylic lacquer frequently and it was good paint. The EPA came along and made them take out all the heavy metals like lead that gave the paint its durability. So, no one really uses the older acrylic lacquers and enamels anymore because they don't hold up very well when compared to the newer paint systems. Even so, there are better paints out there than Duplicolor. First line paint is really expensive these days but all the majors offer second line products which I suspect would be better than Duplicolor.
