Congratulations. Its a great thing. I may ask my teen aged daugthers if its to late to drop them off at the fire station once in a while but I love them even if they drive me crazy.

Lol....my mother's asked me a few months ago (at my fiftieth) if it was too late to have an abortion....nice. She loves me really....I hope!

Cool ! and well done Mrs Ghost!....We were only ever going to have the one child.....so if it had been a girl I would have sent it back under warranty!!! I'm an only son like my father.....gotta keep our family name alive somehow!!

Kayden arrived at 7:51 pm.  8 lbs even. He's currently in the nicu because he's breathing a little fast, but other than that seems fine.

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Woohoo. After 6 kids and 9 grandkids, I know how great of a feeling it is. Cherish that baby boy. :yesnod:

Congrats, that's great! I hope there were no complications, other than him breathing a little fast.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

TheGhost

No, no other complications.  Everything seems good so far.  Had to spend 3 hours in the nicu last night, but he is breathing normally now.

As you get older....no sane parent ever says they had wished they spent less time with the kids.

Best advise I ever got. Enjoy every moment you can. :yesnod:

Thanks everyone.  We finally got home today, after 4 days in the hospital.  32 hours of labor, I have no idea how my wife did it.  Here's a picture of the little guy.

EDIT: picture is too big.  I'll have to edit it down and repost it in the morning.

Don't give all the credit to your wife....I think you forget all the time (2 minutes 27 seconds she Mrs Ghost told me :D) and effort you put into creating that baby boy!! :smilielol:
