I have Goodyear Eagle GT II's 255/60/15 on the front ZERO rub/contact, and 275/60/15 on the rear, ZERO rub/contact, all on factory 15X7 ralleys, the factory backspace is 4.250

Also run GoodYear Polyglass belted GT's F60-15's front and rear on 15X7 ralleys ZERO rub

I measured the 15 x 7 rim from side to side and it was 8 inches. Will that work on a 275 60 15?

I have them on my Daytona... and have had them on every Charger I've ever owned since they were available....

That's the way they all are. The 7" is the inside dimension. Seems a bit skinny for a 275 tire. BFG (for example) recommends 7.5"-9.5".

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Agree.. When I had the 275's on my former C500, I had 15x8's in the rear...

About a month ago I put 275/60/15's on a 15x7 Torq Thrust D and have not had problems.  I realize that a bit wider is recommended but they have been working for me.

It is NOT recommended to put a 255-60-15 or a 275x60x15 on a 15x7.   To much flex.   And I have seen a new 275 blow that was on a 15x7 about 1000 miles into the trip.  The tread came off and wrapped around the axle and spun the car around on the freeway and wiped the car out.  That was on a 69 Runner conv..
Caution.... Low flying aircraft.

255/60-15 fits great on 15x8 Super Coupe wheels...   :Twocents:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?
