All the good stuff is gone. A member here is friends with the guy. He actually has a trans for me but it's been to much rain to get in. Not sure when it will dry up.

I have known the owner for a couple years. Good guy, always treated me fair :2thumbs:. Met him thru some part deals.
I've been to this yard, spent 3 or 4 hours there, not much for us Mopar guys. Most of those cars are rusted bad, beat up and beyond repair, but there are some good parts left.
Most of the Mustangs are gone. Kinda surprised the Camaros are still there.
I do have my eye on the 65 black Barracuda, just trying to figure out a way to drag it 800 miles home.

I've been to old yards like this here in Ohio..if it's anything similar in Houston, that stuff is probably trashed!
Especially the uni body cars.

No pics of the Charger?
That 70 Charger was on craigslist for a while. I think someone posted it here. It's a mess. The 68 I never saw.

This isn't far from me... But, nothing really to go look at..... This is pretty close where I picked up my former '70 v-code 440 six pack Shaker Plum Crazy 'Cuda for $1,250..

Amazing to think of the cars that are still out there in various conditions...

That is really sad. even if it were close, as stated previously there is not much to look at or even salvage unless you need a core for something.   :'(

Yes it is sad.
I was able to pull the passenger side door mirror from the red 72 Satellite. I gave it to a car buddy that needed a mirror for a 72 GTX this morning.

I was able to go back to this car hoard this past Saturday. The 65 Barracuda I had some interest in was gone, so I turned my attention to the 64 Polara. Matt allowed me to pull some of the trim off and the deck lid. The grille is OK and it has a column shift with the likage. Is that grille and column with linkage worth going after, could someone here use them if I pulled them? Are the pedals worth anything?  I think this car is going to the crusher soon.

At some point, it turned from a salvage yard, to a junk yard...    :Twocents:

:'(
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Dino

Looking at these pictures I wish I could just stroll around though and be surprised at what I find.

You know, you could charge parents to have their kids come and play in the yard. They would have a ball climbing in and out of those cars. Just sign a waiver at the entrance and get your complementary tetanus shot.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I wonder if the flooding from the hurricane hit that place.....

Yes it did. This place has been under water a bunch of times. Back in March/April this year, tried to get in there, but it was flooded.
