I am trying to calibrate the doors in my AC/Heater Box and have discrepancies.
The picture below is from the '68 service manual for the OFF Positions.
The Black lines is where vacuum is applied to the actuators.
I think the figure is wrong, or I am!

When I disassembled the box, If a tube was removed, the tube and actuator port was identified.
In most cases, the actuators were removed as an assembly without removing the tubes.

The actuators can be installed only one way, therefore I am good there.
The actuator I marked as "C", I am good with.
My problems are with "A" and "B".  They are both in the right location
("A" has the longer shaft) and I believe the linkage is also good.

"A" is shown with ports "2" and "4", and "B" is shown with ports "5" and "7".
My routing has "A" with ports "5" and "7", and "B" with "2" and "4".
And I also have "5" and "7" reversed.
The engineering sketch may not care about accuracy of shaft length or location??
and does not depict linkage very accurately relative to the actual parts.

My photos before disassembly has the shaft side of all actuators fed by tubes with the red stripe.
3, 4, and 5 have the Red Stripe, directly from the connector.

Is the Service Manual Fig.1 correct? and therefore I was having a bad day?

Mike
Do you have a copy of that Chart?
I did notice that the tube numbering is different from my service manual picture.
