Neat pic of the three green years in row.

Pretty sure it's older than that. I think I joined in 2002 when I bought my black 68 and it had been going strong for several years. That's how I got involved: the site crashed and the database was corrupted so Jesse was going to throw it all away and start over. I had my car in a million pieces and all the information I had about putting it back together was in the tech threads! He let me have access to fix the database (that's what I do for a living) and we didn't lose anything except the last day of threads/posts. I still have that copy of the database so I could actually just go an look to see when the first post was...

For all who complain about uploading pics in here, it's a small fraction compared of what Troy has to do to keep it going.

I'm a late late comer, March 2012. I was always into Mopars but from 2005 thru 2012 I went into a hiatus until I got back my craving for a 68, so that's when I joined.

I bought my previous Charger in I think 2004 so I was definitely on the site by then. Likely it was 2003. Went by Doc74 back then! Good times with a lot of good people, many that are off the site unfortunately.

Same here, I try to log in & it takes me to the same auction site. The earliest I can find me on there is April 2, 2003. But it won't open any of the threads, so I can't tell how many posts I had by that date. Speaking of which, scroll to the bottom of the home page on that date & check out how many members had logged in within 24 hours...458! :o That was a lot of action going on.
I also noticed that back then, Ponch was going my "TheUltimateMoJo"...

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Troy

You guys may not want to log in! The http://web.archive.org web site is just a static record of the pages that existed. It IS NOT the forum!!! The links should take you to other pages on archive.org. If anything takes you to dodge-charger.com then you are going to a site run by whoever owns the domain now (according to Whois this is "DYNADOT, LLC"). The domain is "parked" right now which is probably why it's displaying ads.

Troy

I can still remember the old site but dont know if I joined or not. I know I first registered under the name "Wantacharger" since I was hunting for something and hunting for info on do's an dont's... I bought my 69 in 2006 and changed my screenname then.

It only makes clear how life can get in the way some times. In 2005/2006 I was only a young punk (25) with a crazy idea... Then bought a house, married, 2 kids came along and so on and on. The bright side is the Charger project is still here and still moves albeit slowly, but it moves forward.
