April 18, 2001 is the earliest archive.org captured, but it was active a little before that - in the members rides area 'r s' posted on 3-9-2001.

Here's the front page:

(archive.org banner at top, you can navigate other snapshot dates of the website with it)

I wasn't registered and logged in so I couldn't see beyond page 1 of the members list.  Any old timers still want to try to login?  Not sure if this is possible on these archived sites on archive.org.

Who owns the orange 70 charger rt with the white daytona wing? I saw that car driving down the highway in tampa bay florida in early april this year, very cool to see.

I logged in and went to a page that was mostly late model LX Diplomats for sale.

I got a link to the old DC board from someone on scatpack.com. That is one site I sure do miss!

I'd been a lurker on the old site for a few yrs. When it disappeared that summer I was sad to see it go. Thus I signed up as soon as I found the new one. Took me several years to actually start posting though.

I didn't remember when I joined but I'm on the list, complete with my first email address (that's been dead for probably 12 years).
And I still have my T shirts (I got mine!) but they don't quite fit like they used to- they shrunk in an odd fashion, the chest and shoulder area is fine but for some reason it's too small around the midsection now?   ;)

Marc -
Thanks for posting a picture of the "Magnum Force"...mine is the 1969 in the middle.  Heard anything from Kelly?  He has been MIA on the site.

I can still remember the old site but dont know if I joined or not. I know I first registered under the name "Wantacharger" since I was hunting for something and hunting for info on do's an dont's... I bought my 69 in 2006 and changed my screenname then.

It only makes clear how life can get in the way some times. In 2005/2006 I was only a young punk (25) with a crazy idea... Then bought a house, married, 2 kids came along and so on and on. The bright side is the Charger project is still here and still moves albeit slowly, but it moves forward.
After over a 1000hrs of bodywork the beast is almost ready for a shiny coat of paint.

Haha. Some guys still get salty over that. Life is too short to hang on to that type of rage over $20. I think i still have my shirt somewhere.

Im pretty sure I joined in December 2001 and the site had been around 6mos-1yr at that point.

Some epic battles between ChargerBill and a couple of guys over politics and religion. Pretty sure theyre the reason for the rule here.
