Older article, but worth a read for MoPar racing fans.
Mentions the wing cars, Petty's Satellite, the 74 Charger, Chrysler 300
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

71-74 charger should have been higher on the list  IMHO

Petty's 71 Plymouth should have been on there too!

Trying to ignore my biases, but I still agree 100%. The reasoning they give in the article are hard to ignore: Pure number of wins/championships and the fact that they extended it's eligibility to 77. 7 years of essentially the same body winning, the favorite body ever of the all-time champ, and it's #10.  :shruggy:

Also, I cry foul that they count the Bird and Daytona as one car!.  #1 AND #2.  :RantExplode:

They make a big deal of the Monte fastback which was just trying to be as slippery as the T-bird, and then the picture is of a std coupe square back.  ::)
1969 Charger 500 #232008
1972 Charger, Grand Sport #41
1973 Charger "T/A"

How did they miss the '65 Galaxie?  In addition to being a championship car, it lent its front suspension to almost all non-Mopar NASCAR stock cars into the 1990's.

200MPH

yeah X2 on counting the Daytona and Superbird as one car

Poor research, prior to writing...
We see that all the time.
