Was this car for sale a couple of years ago?

alfaitalia

Be nice when its (properly) finished. Each to his own but if he built it to sell well then a different color would have helped. No I'm not a green hater...but there are so many colours that would sell that car better. Never mind....you can always change the colour after you finish getting the gaps somewhere near right! All just looks a little amateur to me.

Come'on  :slap: ....it's got everything you Mopar guys like, F8 green, poverty caps, the fit and finish is on par with 1969 factory build quality, all it needs is an F8  :eek2: interior...you've been spoiled looking at vehicle refurbished to OCD specs

Troy

I am positive that car belongs to a member here and there's a thread on it somewhere. I just can't find it... :eyes:

triple_green

SO how come noone is buying this? I know what it costs to build something like this.

Green color?
Modern Hemi?
ill fitting body panels?

Has anyone seen this car in person?

Thanks!
68 Charger 383 HP grandma car (the orignal 3X)

Charger_Fan

The body panels look okay to me...or am I missing something? For me, the green kills it. But other than the frame connectors that were added as an afterthought, I think the overall car looks pretty good.

I do think the engine area could use some cleaning up though, to get rid of the "cobbled together" items.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Agreed!...

The car has a decent build, sure there's some details that could be straighten out, but the F8 GREEN just makes it look like a turd in the punch bowl...If the seller cleaned up some of the cosmetic booboo's, wet sanded the orange peel out of the paint, put some shine to it, and dumped those GOD AWFUL fucking ugly F8 painted rims and dog dishes for a nice set of Road Wheels with Redlines, or any decent vintage aftermarket style wheel (Cragars,Torque Thrusts, etc) with white lettered tires, IMHO he'd move it quicker and maybe for more coin

JB400

Hilborn injection would make it look cool

DAY CLONA

here's a cleaned up version, remove the buck tooth front plate, put some real wheels on it, fix the nose seal, put some shine on that lifeless F8 paint......

6pkrtse

I wish I could afford it. I would be all over it. Green or not. Road wheels just like pictured. Pull the modern drivetrain out of it & put a F.I. 440 RB back in it & call it done.
