I have a 68' Charger 383 with original steering pump. Where is the adjustment to loosen the tension on the belt?  Thanks

I think it is under the hood.  Have you looked there yet?

500" NA, Eddy head, pump gas, exhaust manifold with 2 1/2 exhaust with tailpipes
4150 lbs with driver, 3.23 gear, stock converter
11.68 @ 120.2 mph

Be sure no one will try to start the engine while your hands are in there.
Better yet disconnect the Negative cable from the battery, if your not sure which one is the Negative cable, disconnect both cables.
