Changing 8 3/4 rear end oil

I think I should change my rear end oil. It's been a few years... quite a few since the rear end swap. What oil should you use for a posi unit and what's the method since I see there's no drain plug? Pump it out?  Thanks!

Thanks man. That what I was thinking. Any recommendations on oil and additive?

OK, your decision about drilling a hole in the housing, I wouldn't.
Instead, drive the car to warm up the oil, and pull it out with a suction gun.
Works great with hot oil!

Why not? The factory did it on the early 8 3/4" housings.

Synthetics like Red Line 75W-90 need no additive.
