I like what OER description says under they product parts list

The leader in quality reproductions is here! OER stands for Original Equipment Reproduction. When you see the OER logo, you can be assured that every part is manufactured to exact factory specifications and will fit and function just like the original part. What's more, many OER products are officially licensed and carry a full one your warranty against defects and workmanship.

Nice bit of comedy there. they need to drive that thought into the manufacturing facilities in China.

Ironically their statement is "correct", Mopar's licensing dept work's on the same "creed"... "will fit and function just like the original part" the part where it was suppose to say  "looks like the factory part in every detail" is obviously not their or Mopar's licensing dept concern?....

Nacho-RT74

probably these also "will fit and function just like the original part"

if we were paying for cheap repros, I think would care less since would be our own fault on buy them... but licensed, expensive and still incorrect look ?

China is able to make from pieces of $hit up to nice good parts ( Apple products are made in China same as many other stuff, althought it says "assemblied" just to sway the word "made" )... but why we can trust paying an iPhone made in China ? because the brand is backing them and we get a customer service!!!!

That brings me up to the wrong color shades on gradated 73/74 Repro Rallye stripes on $300 ( initially $400 ) and LICENSED, proudly made in USA. ( and when I let to the manufacturer know about that, simply didn't care )

another "LICENSED PRODUCT" which not even existed back in the days since they are originally PAINTED not decals

which is good to get that option from any manufacturer, but... licensed ?

Ya it's annoying that we have to pay the high prices and then spend hours calling and emailing people to tell them how incorrect their expensive repro part is!

Obviously the knowledgeable folks on this forum are excluded from the following!.....but the manufacturers are probably fed up hearing from whinging owners complaining about every part (even if it's correct). I'm sure you all know people who "know better" and love telling you a part is incorrect on your car when you know it isn't. An elderly friend of mine almost came to blows with an "expert judge" at a show after he said that the wheels and inner door panels are wrong on his Porsche 356b. He has owned the car since he picked it up brand new from the showroom. Lol!

The makers of these parts must think "here we go again" pretty much every time the complaints phone rings. Not defending poor parts though......

I wonder if there is actually much complaining to them though or if its mostly just amongst ourselves?

this is a center cap from MCB restorations in Michigan. It too appears slightly different from their posted picture on ebay. I wish people would take a picture of the exact part!! I like wheel vintiques center cap since the raised portions around the bullseye center are actually chrome appearing but they painted the center of the bullseye silver and its not supposed to be that way. MCB's center cap is brighter looking than the pictures of the NOS centers that are posted in this thread. they don't have a dull enough brushed aluminum look around the raised portions of the cap. im annoyed with these details and cant decide which ones to use now

the funny part to me about these wheel centers is that i have some nos sets available for $130

they arent dated from the 1970s, but i believe they are from the 1990s

so if anyone wants some original chrysler wheel centers get ahold of me

I have the whole set of center caps for $130 set of 4, not just the decal/inlay discs

thanks
