saw this inland shifter on ebay,Item #192319534545.  it has a lower boot that protects the shifter mechanism from road dirt. are these available anywhere? and would they fit a hurst shifter? any info is appreciated. Thanks.

I think the lower boot just keeps dirt from getting up into the console, the shifter itself is still hanging in the breeze under there.  Non- console cars of course have the boot at the floor and therefore don't need an upper one.

Hmmm. I'm not intimately familiar with the Inland shifter and have never seen that lower cover. Most have probably rotted off by now.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
