Hello,
I was going through some old Mopar literature I saved and found something that I am sure the owner of the car would really like to have.   I found a original broadcast sheet for a Daytona in very good shape.  I must have bought a seat or something at a swap meet and found it, and like me, I saved it.
The sequence number is 414667.
Does anyone know the owner of this car?  Or I guess it could have been one that did not survive.
Contact me through my web site, it is the best way to reach me.
Thanks
Mark

It's not the ModTop Daytona - only one digit off it's VIN though...

This is a very low optioned R4 red 4-speed car that was listed for sale in 2016 by DC.com member winged69.  I don't know what happened to the car from that point.

P.S. winged69 had two R4 Daytonas at the time (1 auto, 1 manual), so the ad links in the above thread can be confusing

Do you have a link to your website, or should an interested person use the email address listed in your forum profile?

Thanks for posting this info too...

Right Gene - I think the mod top was 666.....and I used to have 665. Both cars were out of British Columbia. Where is 667 from?

The Shipping List says 667 was (at least intended to be) sent to National Motors Ltd., Victoria, B.C., which makes sense considering what winged69 had relayed about the car:

656 is now back at home in canada. it is also sitting next to 667. I amwondering per article if MCG if my car was the other daytona on the car carrier. Does the owner of 666 have any more details on this? 667 is a 440 4spd no option red with black wing and interior. No p.s or pb or radio or console. Does anybody know of this or have pictures of my car . Original owner worked for BC Ferries Corp in Victoria BC. Please let me know. Thx

Wow, I've actually talked to him!  He used to be a policeman with The Mounties (I think) up there in Canada.  He's traveled a lot and has seen a good percentage of the Canadian Daytonas.  I thought he was trying to track down one of his previously owned Daytonas in Los Angeles or somewhere in California.  It has been many years ago, and I don't know if I can find the messages we emailed back and forth.

It is a Red/Red Interior with a Radio Delete, and maybe no options at all.  I remember asking him about the rear defroster, and I remember he said every Canadian Daytona does not have the rear defroster, but I don't remember if he said this one did or didn't.  I don't know what color the wing was.

I hope he's doing fine, maybe he found the other Daytona and sold this one?

It would be very nice to see a copy of the broadcast sheet too, as this is an interesting car.

I met with him on my Alaska trip 2 years ago. I am looking for his contact info. He has had (if I remember right) 2 different user names on here and very infrequently comes online. The car was involved in a bank robbery back in the day and still has a bullet hole in the passenger side. He was a customs officer.

I contacted him on eBay, maybe his username there was policemankelly or something like that.

It is funny because he was trying to sell the Daytona, and he had a fair price for it too, but nobody bid on it.  So I contacted him, and said I remembered a story long ago about a police officer in Canada who had two Daytonas.  He wrote back and said that was him.

So maybe I can find that story again too.  It was a very nice writeup about him and the cars.

Hi Mark,

I assume that the Broadcast Sheet was the one in our mutual friend's car due to the seat removal for the Daytona mod...

Mark, I spoke to the current owner.  He is going to email you about the build sheet.

Mark I just spoke with Kelvin, the owner of the Daytona and gave him your email address.
